‘Resulting from the Chamber’s strategic plan, the Chamber has now approved a new Member Benefits Program that can deliver strategic advantages to participating companies, said Jennifer Lyster, Executive Director. ‘Last week the Chamber signed an agreement with the Chamber eLearning Centre and Growth Advisors Inc., which allows our Southwest Community Chamber Members access to highly-effective, low-cost online training’.

A 15 percent discount has also been negotiated for any of these members subscribing to courses with our partner-provider, Lyster added.

‘Providing constant and effective training opportunities has been demonstrated time and again to be a positive step employers can take towards retaining qualified workers – especially those among Generation Y’, she said.

This new alliance adds to the Chamber’s already impressive Member Benefits Program which includes substantial discounts for members on processing financial services through TD Merchant Services and First Data, the ESSO Business Card Program which offers a 3 cents per litre fuel discount of the pump price, as well as access to the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan – Canada’s leading group benefits plan for firms with 50 or fewer employees.
